Who we are
We are local volunteers who willingly give of our time to help others in North Walsham who need a hand and cannot find help elsewhere. We are keen to build a network of support in our community and using the resources of our community to enable people to live independent and purposeful lives.
What we do
We give practical short term help to anyone in North Walsham who needs and requests it. One-off jobs might include giving someone a lift to go shopping or visit a relative in hospital; changing a light bulb or clearing an overgrown garden; filling in a form or walking a dog – we will try to respond whenever possible.
What we do depends on matching a request made to what our volunteers are able to offer.
We do not undertake jobs that require high levels of skill or technical expertise, nor substitute for the work of local businesses or statutory bodies (like the Local Authority or NHS).
